He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Russell "Bud" and Rosellen Howe (Fischer); his spouse Beverly Jean Rowlison; his daughter Jean Kay Howe; his grandson Jerrid Keith Book; his sisters, Marion Louise Howe and Martha Howe; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Howe, Floyd Johnson and Paul Carper.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney D. Howe (Karen) of Stroh, Russell D. Howe (Kristyn Rasler Steele) of LaGrange, Cari L. Book (Troy) of Angola and Cheri L. Bovee (Jeff) of Wolcottville; and his siblings, Don Howe, Mike Howe (Kelly), Mark Howe (Lisa), Mary Ellen Johnson, Marlene Carper and Deb Simon (Randy). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to the Stroh Little League or Stroh Fire Department.
