She was predeceased by: her parents, Sie Hamilton and Birdie Hamilton (Mosley); her husband Nathaniel Moore; her son Willis D. Moore; and her siblings, Audrey Straton, Terry Hamilton, Billy Greene Hamilton and Bob Hamilton.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Gayheart (Green) of Ontario, IN, Alicia Handshoe (Hershel) of Stroh, IN, Christa Freed (John) of LaGrange, IN, Marvin Moore (Heather) of LaGrange, IN and Darwin Moore (Lori) of Auburn, IN; and her siblings, Opal Moore of McDowell, KY, Charlene Mosley of Garner, KY, Sie Hamilton, Jr. of Price, KY and Harold Moore of McDowell, KY.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frurip-May Funeral Home (309 W Michigan St, LaGrange, IN 46761). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Helmer Community Baptist Church.
