Amy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Amy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Amy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her father William "Bill" Powell. She is survived by: her mother Paula Sturgeon; her children, Kayleigh [Miguel] Sims, Meera Patel and Neela Patel; and her brother John Powell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Holmes Memorial Chapel (642 W Silver St, Sullivan, IN 47882). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society, one of Amy's favorite organizations in life.
