It is with sadness that the passing of Janet Sue Sheffler (Sullivan, Indiana) is shared. Janet, born on April 17, 1937 in Carlisle, Indiana, passed away on June 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester H Charlton and Mary Ellen Charlton (King); and her sisters, Ethel Mae Flaughter, Helen Snyder, Virginia Daughtery and June Deiss.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Sheffler; her children, Debbie Smith of Sullivan and Neil Sheffler (Deanna) of Carmel, Indiana; her grandchildren, Holly Kriner (Mike), Andrew Smith (Amy), Kyle Sheffler (Jamie) and Blake Sheffler; and her great grandchildren, Addison, Georgiana, Augustus, Henry, Ava, Olivia and Sophia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
