In loving memory of Rick Bogard of Sullivan, Indiana, who departed this world on October 11, 2025 at the age of 73. Rick leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Rick Bogard and Alice Marie Scott; his wife Catherine Obenski Bogard; his siblings, Gerald, Bobby, Jerry, Terry, Jim, Dean Bogard, Sherry Bonham and Carolyn Hendrix; and his grandchild Brileigh Taylor.
He is survived by: his son Brooks Bogard (Carrie) of Sullivan, IN; his brother Jay Bennett of Merom, IN; and his grandchildren, Lillie Taylor, Austin Bogard, Jacob Lewis, Brittany Lewis, Whitney Hibdon and AnnaLee Lewis. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Brust Funeral Home (400 N Court St, Sullivan, IN 47882). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Merom Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Funeral Home to help with Funeral expenses.
