He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dunfee and Opal Crum Dunfee. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Gardner Dunfee; his sons, Sam Dunfee, Jr. (Jenny) and Daniel Dunfee; and his grandsons, Brian (Victoria), Matt and Tim Dunfee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
