He was predeceased by : his parents, John Everette and Hazel Rumple Gadberry; his son Matthew Gadberry; and his brothers, John Gadberry and Richard Ray "Dickie" Gadberry.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Garrard Gadberry; his brothers, Danny Gadberry (Rhea Dawn) and Steve Gadberry (Pam); his sister-in-law Carolyn Gadberry; his nieces and nephews, Leslie Gadberry and Benjamin Gadberry (Natasha); and his grandchildren, Izaac, Arielle, Amelia, Samuel and Daniel.
