It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Amick of Summitville, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Cynthia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cynthia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Jack Backer; her stepfather Virgil Heater; and her friend Jenny Lamoreaux. She is survived by: her mother Florence Backer (Davis) of Summitville; her husband Bradley Amick of Summitville; her son Ben Stiltner (Stacy) of Summitville; her grandson Cannon Stiltner of Summitville; her brother Kurt Backer (Mary) of Dunkirk; her aunt Erna Karla Backer of Indianapolis; and her nieces, Eleathia Harding of Dunkirk and Jessica Moore of Chattanooga, TN.
