He is survived by: his wife Kathy Purtee; his son Will Cox (Frida); his granddaughter Carolina "JoJo" Cox; and his sister Rhonda Hintz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other extended family members and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Whetsel Funeral Service (1503 S Park Ave, Alexandria, IN 46001). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
