With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kelley Jo Carter of Sunman, Indiana, born in Connersville, Indiana, who passed away on July 25, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Donald Bates and Barbara Hammond Bates; her daughters, Megan Maynard (Brian), Holly Clark (Bobby) and Samatha Carter (Joe Ahaus); her grandchildren, Kyla, Nicholas Jr. (Ana), Kirstin, Keegan, Makiha, Tyson, Tristian, Jayden, Karley, Hannah and Ethan; her great grandchild Nicholas III; her stepmother Brenda Bates (Frank Fletcher); her sister Donna Bates; and her aunt Wanda Bates. She is also survived by several nieces; one nephew and many special friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home - Sunman (107 W Vine St, Sunman, IN 47041). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
