He is survived by: his wife Francesca Zimmer; his daughters, Amanda Meyer (Dallas) and Abby Zimmer (Mark Stutz); his grandchildren, Lexie Meyer and Stetson Stutz; and his sisters, Kathy Gerbig (Jeff) and Julie McIntosh (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dive/The Sunman American Legion.
