She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob and Jennie; her daughter Debra Russell; and her siblings, Roumilda Loaring, Mary Heppner, Freda Cronin, Leona Burbank, Emma Ryan, Lawrence Heppner, Elmer "Pete" Heppner and Lambert Heppner.
She is survived by: her husband Ben Batta of Sunman; her sons, Jeff Batta of Oldenburg and Doug Batta (Angie) of Sunman; and her son-in-law Todd Russell of Moores Hill, Indiana. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
