He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Schlabach and Laura Schlabach (Bontrager); and his brothers, William and Ernest Schlabach. He is survived by: his children, April Bernth (Dan) of Goshen and Jessy Schlabach (Josie Krzeczkowski) of Grass Lake, MI; and his siblings, Ida Marchand of Goshen, Elsie Harshberger of Goshen, Edna Ringler of Shipshewana, Thelma Wallace of Arizona, Gary Schlabach (Cindy) of Syracuse and Gerald Schlabach of Michigan City. He is also survived by three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
