He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Hoover and Pauline Hoover (Wogoman); his wife Dorothy; and his brothers, Robert and Steve Hoover.
He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Curtis (Ken Oswald) of Syracuse; his grandson H. B. Adams Jr. (Maranda) of Rochester, Washington; and his great grandchildren, Gracelynn and Liam Adams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
