She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fritzen and Thelma Fritzen (Lotter); her husband Dennis "Denny" Emmert; her son-in-law Jeff Miller; her sister Ann Gropp; her brother-in-law Roy Gropp; and her brother Eric Fritzen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Du Bois (Kittrick) of Mesa and Jamie Miller of Syracuse; her grandchildren, Madison Hayes, Jackson Hayes (Daleisha Ruiz-Portugal) and Chloe Du Bois; and her sister Amy Bruce of Phoenix, Arizona..
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Syracuse Public Library—two causes close to her heart.
