He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Emil Eppich and Dorothy Eppich (Terepka); his former wife Marilyn Eppich (Frey); his pet Years; his wife Judy Eppich (Schmahl); his daughters, Laurel Canan (Jim), Kathy Slezak (Mark) and Julie Eppich; his grandchildren, Robert Canan (Molly), Tyler Canan (Kelsey), Matthew Slezak, David Slezak (Rachel) and Zion Lee; his great grandchild Theo Canan; his stepchildren, Jeffrey Schmahl (Donna), Stephen Schmahl (Amy), Julie Sanders, David Schmahl and Carrie Vonderheide (Brad); his brothers, John and Kenneth Eppich; and his stepson-in-law Bob Sanders. He was also cherished by sixteen step grandchildren.
