She was predeceased by: her parents, John Weldy and Mable Weldy (Luke); her husband Chet Elder; and her brother Ronnie Weldy. She is survived by: her children, Roger Smith (Chrissy) of Syracuse, Daniel K. Smith of Syracuse and Shelly Higginbotham (Jeff) of Syracuse; her grandchildren, Ayla Bolling, Owen Smith, Oakley Smith, Sky Smith, Jefrey Higginbotham and Allen Higginbotham; her great grandchildren, Hayden and Asher; and her siblings, Carol Elder, Rolene Taylor and Barry Weldy.
Sandra is remembered for her nearly 25 years of service with Tenneco, where she made lasting contributions to her team and fostered friendships that enriched her life.
