She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Aders and Martha Aders (Jeffers); her husband Wayne Sturgeon; her son Cecil Dewayne; her great grandchild Jason Scott; her great great grandchild Dallas Nichols; and her siblings, Cecil Aders, Evelyn Holman, Mary Lamkin and Olga Phillips.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Scott (Paul) of Tell City, IN, Sue Hargis (Terry) of Hawesville, KY and Judy Davis of Tell City, IN; and her grandchildren, Richard Sturgeon, Laurie Sturgeon, Lesley Sturgeon, Cindy Eicher, Brad Scott, Martha Thomas, Carrie Hargis Jones, Sally Hargis Gregory Kozee, Kyle, Kristopher and Kelcie Davis. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
