He is survived by: his wife Rita Fortwendel; his children, Jamie Armstrong (Gerrit) of Mt. Carmel, IL, Molly Melvin (Anthony) of Henderson, KY, Ashley Luecke (Tim) of New Boston, Candace Voyles of Henderson, KY, Garett Smith (Ashley) of Panama City and Nicholas Smith (Sydney) of Tell City; his siblings, Pat Luther (Jeff) of Corydon, Paula Howell (Paul) of Gatchel, Rick Smith (Dolly) of Tell City and Danielle Corley (Chris) of Cannelton; his stepsiblings, Doug Dunn, Mike Dunn and Leta Dunn (Bill) of Troy; and his grandchildren, Allyson, Maleah Armstrong, Gabrielle, Emery, Maggee Melvin, Brendon, Evan and Zander Luecke.
