He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Olberding and Brenda Boone (Orander); his stepfather Clyde; and his siblings, Joseph Olberding and Mary Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Olberding; his daughters, Christy McCoy (Troy) of Tell City and Robin Olberding of Tell City; his siblings, Kathy McManaway of Tell City, James Olberding of Tell City and Rebecca Carman (Ron) of Tell City; his grandchildren, Bethany, Bailey, Brentley, Breanna and Devon; and his great grandchild Stormie.
