He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewell Nelson and Anastasia Nelson (Edwards); and his sister Diana Hull. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Nelson of Tell City; his daughters, Rosanne Ridener (John) of Branchville and Susan N. Nelson of Tell City; his sister Carol Hottell of Corydon; his grandchildren, Victoria Neukam, Shawn Ridener and Aurelia Nelson; and his great grandchildren, Gunner and Easton Hancock.
