Ora Nell Tharp Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ora Nell Tharp of Tell City, Indiana, who passed away on June 24, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ora Nell Tharp to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Meadows and Nellie Meadows (Clark); her spouse Chris Tharp; her daughter Rebecca Jordan; and her siblings, Hattie Belle Wing, Margaret Mae Roberts, Anna Louise Breitinger, Emma Jean Jacondino and Junius Meadows.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Malone (Larry) of Tell City and Dennis Boyd (Cathy) of Owensboro, KY; and her grandchildren, Monica Fischer, Amber Ollis and Matthew Boyd (Emileigh). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home (920 10th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heart-to-Heart Hospice, Oakwood Health Campus, or Perry County Council on Aging.
