Winfield Thomas Obituary

We bid farewell to Winfield Thomas (Tell City, Indiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 7, 2025 at the age of 90. Winfield touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Winfield and Lala Thomas (Snider); his siblings, Mary Fuqua, Grace Weatherholt, John, David and Dewey Thomas; and his great grandchild Judson Lynn Farris.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Thomas of Grandview; his sons, Bob Thomas (Peggy) of Leopold, Richard Thomas (Renee) of Newtonville and Chris Thomas (Stephanie) of Cannelton; his grandchildren, Dane Thomas (Taylor), Wendy East (Brent), Sally Boyd (Danny), Robbi Duvall (Cortdell), Maggie Lynn Farris (Justin), Garrett Thomas (Leah), Mason Thomas, Colby Thomas (Kaitlyn) and Breanna Thomas; his great grandchildren, Eryn Oden (Luke), Ryder, Raiden, Aurora Thomas, Cody, Daniel Boyd, Houston Thomas, Tucker Roesler, Brennen, Breckin East, Amelia Duvall, Deacon, Asher Farris and Granger Thomas; and his great great grandchild Esther Oden.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (6485 IN-70, Grandview, IN 47615). A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at the New Hope Cemetery (6485 IN-70, Grandview, IN 47615).

Memorial contributions may be made to Gideon Internation, Perry or Spencer Counties Lyon's Club or New Hope Cemetery, Newtonville.
