He was predeceased by: his parents, Aleck Leroy Dickson and Helen Dickson (Whitmore); his wife Lillie Eloise Stewart; his former wife Anna Catherine Dickson (Young); his sisters, Marlene and Patty; his grandson Daren Adamson; and his great grandchild Kathy Ann Adamson.
He is survived by: his children, Larry (Debbi) of Marshall and Martha (Roger Elmore) of Terre Haute; his son-in-law David Adamson of Terre Haute; his sister Lois Myer of Alabama; his grandchildren, Charlie Dickson (Linda), Mark Christie (Tracy), Carrie Mathis (Denver), Joe Christie and Dana Danford (Larren); and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Sylvia Adamson, Victoria, Noah, Engelend Aaron, Ceilidh, Keira Christie and June Christie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the church or to the Wabash Valley Christian Youth Camp (Camp Wabashi) at 3525 E. Harlan Dr in Terre Haute.
