Alta Walls Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2025, at the age of 94, Alta Walls of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alta Walls to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Tate and Opal Tate; her husband Bob; her sister Velma Jean Phillips; and her son Robert Jay Walls.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie McKay (Dwight) and Dan Walls (Debbie); her daughter-in-law Angela Walls; her brother James Tate; and her grandchildren, Michael Walls (Jessica), Kris Tuberosa (Donovan), Tasha McCoy (Zach), Holly Verdeyen, Ryan McKay (Lindsay), Halee Clinkenbeard (Conner), Mackenzie Cooper (Tristin) and Darren Zaremba.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the DeBaun Funeral Homes & Crematory (85 E Springhill Dr, Terre Haute, IN 47802). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alta can be made to Union Baptist Church.
