He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Mason and Rosa Mason (Carpenter); his siblings, Rosco Mason and Vivian Mason; and his granddaughter Christa Mason.

He is survived by : his wife Christine Mason (Switzer); his sons, Rick Mason, Mike Mason (Kathy) and Greg Mason; his grandchildren, Matthew Mason, Jamie Henderson and David Mason; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Jasmine, Brandon, Jillian and Jeremiah; and his brother Kenneth Mason.
