We bid farewell to Charles Thompson of Terre Haute, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 13, 2026 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Thompson and Annabelle Akens Thompson; his brother Dennis Ray Thompson; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth A. Bell Thompson; his sons, Richard Thompson (Tracy) and Bryan Thompson; his grandchildren, Desiree, Reven, Samantha, Ayden, Hunter, Adyson and Nolen; his brothers, Barry Thompson, Garry "Jug" Thompson (Marsha) and Marshall "Yogi" Thompson (Beth Ann); his sister-in-law Sherilyn Thompson; Dexter. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Chuck may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
