With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Dean Savant of Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on June 12, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Savant and Sylvia Bercaw Savant; his brother John Foster; and his son Troy Savant (Myla). He is survived by: his children, Jason Savant and Penny Polk; his grandchildren, Logan Savant, Wyatt Savant, Charlee Savant, Vannie Savant, Dominic Savant, Michaela Reiber (Damon), Jalen Polk, Jordan Polk, Desiree and Brylee Reiber; his siblings, Carolyn Bridgewater, Ron Savant, Letitia Besherse, Oralee Pierce and George Foster; his significant other Beverly West; his close friends, Darlene Savant and Mike Harper; his cousins, Reba Endrijaites and Jeannette Wiggs; his nephews, Richard Bridgewater and Darren Besherse; and his niece Tammy Besherse.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Young Men's Club of West Terre Haute (9 E Paris Ave, West Terre Haute, IN 47885).
