He is survived by: his wife Natalie Hoopingarner (Merlin); his children, David Lee Hoopingarner II, Jesse Allen Lewis and Erin Elise Hoopingarner (Jacob Edward Hope); his siblings, Dorn Hoopingarner (Sherri), Howard James Hoopingarner (Betty) and Deann Frances Gotz (Ken); and his pet Ushi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
