With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Diane Marie Stephens of Terre Haute, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Diane left this world on December 7, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack William Eblen and Odetta LeClerq Eblen; her husband Dale F. Stephens; and her son Christopher R. Stephens. She is survived by: her son Jack Sappingfield; her stepdaughters, Paige Barton (Darren) and Noel Fields; her grandchildren, Briana Ziebart (Brandon), Jeremiah Kirk, Kendal Barton, Kortney Huffman (Jack), Kaitlyn Skelton (Ryan), Taylor Sappingfield, Jack Sappingfield, David Fields (Brittany) and Emaline Sappingfield; and her brother Nick Eblen (Susan). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fitzpatrick Funeral Home (220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, IN 47885).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society, in her memory.
