He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald L. Grassick Sr. and Thelma Pharris Grassick; and his sister Kathy Morris. He is survived by : his wife Rachele Robinson Grassick; his children, Kara Grassick, Daniel Grassick (Elizabeth) and Christopher Grassick; his sister Darla Scales; and his nephews, Jackson, Colton and Dalton.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Life Fellowship (7849 Wabash Ave, Terre Haute, IN 47803). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

“I served with Don from 1998-2006 and we deployed to Bosnia together. Don was a good and kind man. When I was new in the Guard, Don was about the only person who would speak to me for the first 6 months. That’s just how the Unit was then. But I never forgot the kindness he showed this 18 yr. old dumb kid that was just starting life. -Wes Hamilton”
