He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Meneely and Mary Meneely (Gibson); his brothers, Jack and Tom; his grandson Nicholas; and his friend Fuzz.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia Meneely (Streacker); his children, Don Meneely (Machel) of Soddy Daisy, Nick Meneely (Cindy) and Susan Tewell (Ed) of Thorntown, IN; his grandchildren, Ryan Meneely, Daniel Meneely (Melissa), Sarah Matute (Enrique), Stephen Meneely, Maria Mullins, Jason Tewell (Jessica), Chad Tewell (Haley) and Jordan Tewell; and his sister Lucy James. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greiner Funeral Home (2005 N 13th St, Terre Haute, IN 47804). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at the Roselawn Memorial Park.
