She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Teresa Sick and Kaufman; her siblings, August, Gottfried, Wally, Anne and Hildegard; her significant other Richard Ford; her children, Traudie Wilkins (Ed), Richard "David" Ford (April), Robert "Bob" Ford (Donice) and Teresa Ford; her grandchildren, Michael Wilkins, Cassie Wilkins, Chelsea Hathaway, Josh Ford, Robi Ford, Chris Ford and Austin Ford; and her great grandchildren, Gillian Wilkins, Ellie Wilkins, Leslie Miller III, Lillian Hathaway, Dayton Hathaway and Cade Hathaway. She was also cherished by "Oma", the German word for grandmother, by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Liz's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
