He is survived by: his children, Greg Tarwater (Mary Ann), Pat Tarwater (Debra), Mike Tarwater (Linda), Mary Eslinger and Diana Cottrell. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Samaritan Affordable Funeral and Cremation Services (2425 Wabash Ave, Terre Haute, IN 47807). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Park (7500 N Clinton St, Terre Haute, IN 47805).
