He is survived by: his sister Sandy Boyle (Les); his daughter Michelle Truxal; his grandchildren, Nick and Mia Truxal; his pets, Charley and George; his brother David Norris (Heather); and his nieces and nephews, Luke (Chyara), Anna, Mary (Nick), John Paul, Ingrid, Katherine, Stacey and Tony Colletti. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.

A lifelong animal lover, memorial contributions may be made in Gary's memory to the Terre Haute Humane Society.
