He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Jeffers and Ethel Davidson Jeffers; and his wife Edythe Jane. He is survived by: his children, Jimmie Jeffers (Polly) and Jeri Driskill; and his grandchildren, Jill Graham (Brian), Bryan Driskill (Crystal), Ben Jeffers, Matthew Jeffers (Nancy), Jane Driskill and Kara Lovell (Jeremy). He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home (605 S 25th St, Terre Haute, IN 47803). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Silent Men (envelopes will be provided at the funeral home).
