He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Edwards and Mary Melania Chesher Edwards; his wife Ernestine Elliott Edwards; his son Chris Edwards; and his brothers, Robert Edwards, Jr. and Bill Edwards.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Edwards and Greg Edwards (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Jonathon Edwards (Tirzah Abbott), Nicholas Edwards (Sarah) and Shelby Edwards; and his great grandchildren, Dylan and Milo (Betty Cesinger).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Heart Association.
