He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Trueblood and Ellen Trueblood (Devine); and his wife Cindy Trueblood. He is survived by: his children, John Trueblood Jr. (Tyra) and Summer Burke (Brandon); his grandchildren, Bria Burke, Olivia Burke, Justen Trueblood and Jayden Trueblood; his close friend Mary Ann Klain; and his siblings, Judy Williams and Danny Trueblood (Barb).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DeBaun Funeral Homes & Crematory (85 E Springhill Dr, Terre Haute, IN 47802).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center or the Veteran's Memorial Museum of Terre Haute.
