It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marty Tomes of Terre Haute, Indiana, born in Paris, Illinois, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Calvin E. Tomes; and his brother Daniel Dean Tomes. He is survived by : his mother Jean Tomes (Gann) of Vermilion; his significant other Linda Elrod of Terre Haute; his children, Martin Tomes of Elko, Megan Dixon (Matt) of Terre Haute and Marah Starr (Justin) of Mandeville, Louisiana; and his siblings, Calvin Tomes (Rhonda) of Paris, David Tomes of Vermilion and Julie Tomes of Vermilion. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
