He is survived by: his parents, Shirley Joy Thomas (Jesse) of Terre Haute and Mark Johnson (Betty) of Clinton; his brothers, Mark Joy (Kayla) of Rockville and Michael Johnson of Terre Haute; his nephews, Bryson Joy, Kolson Joy and Liam Johnson; and his aunts and uncles, Carol Joy, Kelly White (Scott), Paige Joy, Jamie Joy, Paula Joy, Peggy Joy, William Joy and Stanley Joy.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gooch Funeral Home (112 W Howard St, Rockville, IN 47872). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
