We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 71, Ray Smith of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Callie Smith (Young); and his sister Anna Gail (Cooper). He is survived by: his sons, Ray Smith II (Elaine), Cameron Smith and Brandon Johnson; his grandchildren, Nathan Smith, Ray III, Jaden Smith, Chelsey Purcell and Nevaeh Smith; his brothers, Ceasar Smith (Gwendolyn) and LaVaunt Smith (Phillis); his uncle Own Edwards; and his pet Diamond. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Samaritan Affordable Funeral and Cremation Services (2425 Wabash Ave, Terre Haute, IN 47807). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
