He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston Worth Waltermire and Lorraine Eunice Waltermire (Daily); and his siblings, Ron Waltermire, Denny Waltermire, Gordon Waltermire, Gary Waltermire and Kay Waltermire.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Waltermire (Riggs); his children, Kent Waltermire (Sara) and Wendy Hall (Nathan); his grandchildren, Ryan Waltermire, Justice Waltermire, Sydney Bukovack, Jake Waltermire, Ty Hall and Morgan McGregor; his close friends, Frank, Sharon Crist, Ray, Mary Beth Ripple, Bob and Linda Sullivan; and his pet Kofi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
