We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2022, at the age of 88, Rita Ann Abrell of Terre Haute, Indiana, born in Freedom, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Thompson and Gretchen Thompson (Franklin); and her sisters, Sandra Roudebush and Vickie Query. She is survived by : her children, Rick Abrell (Kathy), Mark Abrell, Steve Abrell, Shawn Abrell and Debbie Vilchuck of Terre Haute; her grandchildren, Chris Abrell (Lisa), Shelly Ogsburry (Brian), Shane Abrell (Shannon), Shannon Sauer (Artie), Brandi Abrell, Justin Abrell (Nina), Cody Huffman (Jason), Jordan Abrell (Amber), Bryce Vilchuck (Anne) and Ashley Vilchuck; and her siblings, Terresa Thompson, Kent Thompson (Donna) and David Holmes (Lacy). She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
