He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lawson and Mary E. Lawson (Clark); his wife Betty Lawson (Heyen); his siblings, Bill, George, Jim and Marie Hoffman; his son-in-law Chuck Brennan; his great great grandchild Lance McKinley; and his close friend Wilma Modesitt.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Brennan, Jim Lawson (Shirley), Peggy Ridgway (John), Tom Lawson (Kim), Ron Lawson (Patti) and Connie Hayes (Larry). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home (605 S 25th St, Terre Haute, IN 47803). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
