He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Kellems and Lola Hagedorn Kellems; his son Robert Leo Kellems, Jr.; his grandson Alex Taerea Kellems; and his siblings, Victor, Hubert, Gene, Edgar, Mildred Graves and Carol Ann Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Walton Kellems of Virginia; his children, Patrick Kellems (Flo) and Karen M. Kellems; his stepson John Snowden (Lisa); his sisters, Ruth Peter and Margie Block; his granddaughter Barbara C. Kellems; his stepgrandchildren, Corey Snowden, Brice Snowden, Sydney Snowden, Roger Hunter, Brittany Taylor and Ashley Norris; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Roger Hunter III and Millie Hunter.
