He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Harris and Willidean Harris (Wright). He is survived by: his wife Janice Harris (Klass); his daughters, Kelly (Harris), Bovenschen (Bobby) and Becky Harris (Paula); his siblings, Gerald Harris (Jean), Darrell Harris (Cindy) and Linda Mitten (Randall); his grandsons, Kyle Starkey and Cody Starkey (Sara); his great grandchildren, Kenzie, Kyle Jr., Bryanna, Chloe, Myla and Bennett; and his great great grandchild Zayden.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society in his honor.
