She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. and Mary C. Coy (Schmoel); her husband Fred "Freddy Bear"; her daughter Mary Kennedy; her brothers, Jimmy and Mike Coy; her cousin Jerry McCarthy; and her daughter-in-law Kathy Melvin (Brower).
She is survived by: her son David S. Melvin; her grandson Xavier; her daughter Kathy Kamp; her siblings, Jerry Coy and Carla Coy (Lincoln); and her pet Jaxx. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
