He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry P. "Keeter" Brentlinger and Dorothy Hauer Brentlinger; and his brother Jerry Brentlinger. He is survived by: his wife Diane Carver Brentlinger; his stepchildren, Caroline Carver Carpenter (Fred) of Conyers, GA and John M. Carver (Kim) of Austin, TX; his siblings, Tony Brentlinger, Terry Brentlinger (Melita) of Terre Haute, Teresa Hayworth (Joe) of Prairieton, IN and Trudy Longest (Mike) of Terre Haute; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica, Kristen, Joanna, Thad, Brian (Taylor) and Seth; and his nieces and nephews, Erin Brentlinger, Abby Livers (Tim), Jared Brentlinger (Laura), Brad Brentlinger (Kelly), Libby Hayworth-Lenne, Brian Hayworth (Julie), Matt Newmister, Jesse Newmister (Margaret), Anne Newmister, Chris Longest (Allison) and Ryan Longest (Katrina). He is also survived by 4 step-great-grandchildren, 14 great-nieces and great-nephews.
