He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Thompson and Anne Thompson Lockard (Rittinghouse); his stepdaughter Mary Jane Rogers; and his siblings, Helen Roberts, Sue Sullivan, Barbara Houston, Oscar Thompson and Jim Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Thompson; his daughter Lori Thompson; his stepchildren, Terri Rogers and Donald Rogers; his goddaughter Carol Sutton; his grandchildren, Scott Yates (Chelsey), Tammy Tanner (Jake), Johnny Goodman, Jason Rogers, Josh Rogers (Sam), Jennifer Ingersoll (Guy), Kyle Rogers (Jasmine), Desirae Long (Bobby), Rikki Humes, Xavier Humes and Jemel Roberts (William); his great grandchildren, Aiden, Waylon, Bowen, Axel, Nevaeh, Adalynn, Kenzley, Keishawn, Liam, Olivia, Sharolynn, Jaden, Khalil, McKayla (Braden), Lilly, Sam, Emma, Mary (Logan), Alyssa and Christopher; his grandchildren, Mia, Abby, Kyle II, Erza, Kiana and Aeriana; and his great great grandchild Hazel. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greiner Funeral Home (2005 N 13th St, Terre Haute, IN 47804). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
