Violet White Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Violet White of Terre Haute, Indiana is shared. Violet, born on July 8, 1950, passed away on September 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Leila Whittsman White; her wife Joan "Gilly" Gilliland; her grandson Richard Samuel Jeffers; her sister Viola "Jane" White; her father Jack White Sr.; her stepfather Roscoe Housewright; and her niece Etta Denny.
She is survived by: her son Richard Jeffers (Rose); her grandson John Jarvis III (Katie); her great grandchildren, Audrey Willis, Rhetta Willis, Zoey Willis and Joshua Lindsay; and her brother Jack Jr. White (Terri). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dresser Park (300 S Schley Pl, West Terre Haute, IN 47885).
